Music News: Kayzo Collaborates With Bad Omens on New Single, "Suffocate"
By Ashley Gallagher
Kayzo is a Los Angeles based producer and DJ. He worked on songs with RIOT and made a remix of “Last Resort” by Papa Roach that had over 13 million streams.
For his new collaboration, he teams up with Bad Omens to release “Suffocate.”
“Working with Noah and Joakim of Bad Omens was rad,” said Kayzo. "We recorded a ton of epic guitar riffs and one thing led to another and ‘Suffocate’ was born.”
His latest album, “Unleashed,” features alternative heavyweights such as Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low, Frank Zummo of Sum 41, Of Mice & Men and Underoath, so collaborations like these are not unknown to him.
"When I was able to sit down in the studio, talk face to face and exchange creative ideas with these bands in real-time . . . that's when the real magic happened", Kazyo describes. "It was incredibly rewarding to be in the studio with these guys. I ended up learning so much."
He will be on tour from late March until early May on two separate tours.
