Belmont released their new EP, “Reflections” on March 13. It is an incredibly diverse six-song EP. It is primarily pop punk, with the three previously released singles “By My Side,” “Stay Up” and “Deadweight.”

Each song has its own sound that makes this album quite literally a reflection of different time periods and places the band was in.

"These songs were recorded in different places over an extended period of time. They are a collection of new ideas, experimentation and an opportunity to lay down anything we've ever wanted in our music, but have been hesitant of trying in the past. Special thanks to Pure Noise Records, and everyone who made this possible. We will now be going into the studio for our second album,"  shares drummer, Brian Lada.

Each song has its own unique sound and is almost a diary of the concepts and sounds that Belmont has been waiting to pursue. It is a collection of not only where Belmont has been, but who they are becoming.

There are electronics mixed in with their signature pop punk sound. It is a different direction for the band, but it sounds authentic like this is the music they want to be making at this exact time.

It is an excellent listen whether you have been a hardcore Belmont fan or you just discovered them.
