Music Review: Hot Mulligan Premier Song and Music Video, ""Equip Sunglasses" on Billboard

Hot Mulligan, a pop punk band from Lansing Michigan, premiered a new song and music video on Billboard. “*Equip Sunglasses*” is the newest single off of their album, “You’ll Be Fine,” set to come out March 6 via No Sleep Records.

"I think it's our best work yet," says guitarist and vocalist Chris Freeman. "The songs are more dynamic. The lyrics are more diverse in subject matter than anything we've done in the past. Overall, it just feels like a more complete Hot Mulligan album; it has some new elements to it, and musically it goes places we haven't gone since before our last record."

The music video for “*Equip Sunglasses*” is fun, exemplifying how quirky and funny Hot Mulligan present themselves. The band dances on a white background and creatively all put on sunglasses.

The song is a stable in Hot Mulligan’s discography. It follows suit of “BCKYRD” and “Feal Like Crab” by feeling like a summer anthem. It also shows how the band has evolved. It feels more put together than their previous releases, but still keeps the signature screaming vocals fans know and love. “*Equip Sunglasses*” will be released on all social media platforms Feb. 21.

Hot Mulligan is currently on tour with Grayscale, WSTR, and LURK for a US run.

The band got robbed in Indianapolis and it included Reverend gear as well as some that were used in the new music video.
